Carney’s road Alford forest just outside of Methven

This is NOT for the fainthearted, this will test your truck and stamina to the limit!!

Being held 20km west of Methven, we will have the pits and scrutineering at the site. The course is approx 7.5km long circuit with up to 10 bonus deviations to test teams, made up of fast flowing areas, some rough terrain, possible winch walls, Valleys, rocks and mud.

This year we will be doing 3 heats

Friday night 1 x 1 hour enduro 

Saturday 2 x 2 hour enduros with a repair break in between

Camping available on site

Friday 2pm

  • 3:00pm Scrutineering
  • 3:00pm Course open for truck testing and inspecting the course
  • 7:00pm BBQ Tea
  • 8:30pm Race Start
  • 9:30pm Race Finish

Saturday

  • 8:00am Breakfast
  • 9:00am Grid up
  • 9:30am Drivers briefing
  • 10:00am 1st Race Start
  • 12:00pm 1st Race Finish / lunch start
  • 1:20pm Drivers briefing
  • 1:30pm 2nd Race Start
  • 3:30pm 2nd Race Finish
  • 4:00pm Prize giving

It is first entered and paid, first off the grid on Friday night. So get your entry’s in.

If you do not pass scrutineering then you will be refunded

  1. As long as the safety gear is there, anything goes eg unlimited tire size

In addition to NZ 4wd Enduro Challenge Rule Book 2024 you will also need

  • A Horn
  • A Flashing blue rear tail light
  • A Headlight
  • Rear vision mirror or rear camera system
  • Window screen or goggles
