We are working on this exciting new 4wd endurance event, it will be two 2 hour enduros where you will be racing a 10km loop.
The basics are
- Approx 10km course
- Track aiming to be 3 truck width wide to aid passing
- 3 classes
- Unlimited (safety rules only)
- Truck (as per MWC rules)
- UTV
- A Horn (the louder the better)
- A Flashing rear tail light
- A Headlight
- Rear vision mirror
- A roll over valve on your fuel breather
- Twin throttle springs
- Window nets
- Cotton overalls
- Neck brace
Horn With out a doubt the louder the better as it will be easier to warn vehicles that you catch up to that you want to pass Flashing Rear Tail Light A minimum of one flashing RED tail light, this can be a push bike unit. Headlight A minimum of one forward facing light to warn vehicles in front of you that you are behind them Rear vision mirror Whether internal or external so you or your navigator can see vehicles approaching from behind Roll over valve on fuel tank breather This can be a simple valve with a ball inside it to stop fuel from escaping if the worst happens and you roll over Twin throttle springs As all vehicles have a factory spring, one more attached to the throttle butterfly is a easy back up. Window nets These can be attached to either roll cages or the window frame of your door, these are to stop your arms from escaping the vehicle in case you have a roll. Cotton overalls 100% cotton overalls is the minimum, proper race overalls are suggested Neck brace This is to fit snugly between your helmet and shoulders
